Grunski Runski - Cheering & Traffic Volunteers Needed!
This Saturday, September 30th is the 43rd Annual Grunski Runski. This year, the route has been changed and will feature Doty Island. The new starting and finishing location Curtis Reed Square in Downtown Menasha. The new route, includes sights of Downtown Menasha, Racine Street Bridge, Doty Island and some of Menasha's beautiful trail system.
VOLUNTEER DETAILS:
Festival Foods is sponsoring a light breakfast for volunteers, and there will be goodie bags from some of our other sponsors for those volunteering! Volunteers are needed for the following:
- Volunteers to direct traffic/runners at main intersections.
- Volunteers to set up Cheering Sections and encourage the runners along the route.
NOTE: The Doty Island Development Council will have a cheer tent at Nicolet/Smith Park. We'll be cheering!!
RACE DETAILS:
There are plenty of spots left (268 spots left) to register to run! Post-race, participants will receive Hickory Smoked Pulled Pork, House Mac & Cheese and Creamy Coleslaw from Parker John's, a sweet treat from The Sweet Lair and beverage from Club Liquor! Also included with your race registration is this year's Custom Hat, the Grunski Runski knit beanie (winter hat) with pompom and custom finisher medal! (Hat guaranteed to first 300 Registrations)
