It's hard to explain "the Island" to anyone that has never lived in the area. It's two cities located in one community - 750 acres surrounded by Lake Winnebago, Lake Butte des Morts, and the Fox River. Four bridges will take you to and from the island.

DIDC History
The Doty Island Development Council had its first meeting in 1992. Its mission: to improve the quality of life for all Doty Island Residents and helping to preserve the vitality of a historic district of Neenah and Menasha. DIDC is a 501c3 non-profit organization.
DIDC Board members are Doty Island residents who volunteer their time and efforts to benefit their community.
