Halloween Happenings

Hey! It's that time of year again when people of all ages dress up in their favorite costumes. Here's a short list of a few activities happening in your neighborhood. There's adult-friendly and kid-friendly activities listed below.

Youth Go Haunted House

Recommended for ages 12 and older. Parents should use personal discretion. Youth Go's haunted house is not afraid to mess with your senses, bring you unexpected scares or skimp on the fun. There are no animatronics, no holograms, what they have are rooms full of over-energized youth that creep and crawl for your shrieks! They are a handicap accessible haunted house. Cost: $5 for students with an ID and $10 for adults.

Children's Day at Youth Go's Haunted House

On Saturday, October 28th from noon to 4:00pm, children of all ages are invited to a lighted, child friendly tour of the Haunted House. There will be trick-or-treating, carnival games, visits from local mascots and more! Cost: $5 for children and adults.

The Attic's Costume Contest and Live Music

Halloween party and costume contest kicks off at 9:00pm on Saturday, October 28th. Live music by Head Games! All contestants must be registered by 10:30 PM. Winners will be announced at midnight. First place winner gets $50 cash and $100 bar tab. Second place winner gets a $50 bar tab. Third place winner gets a $25 bar tab.

Hometown Halloween

On Thursday, October 26th from 4:00pm- 6:00pm, children of all ages are welcome to trick-or-treat participating downtown Menasha businesses and vendors at the Farm Fresh Market. Participating businesses will have a pumpkin displayed in their windows.

Main Street will be closed to traffic from Mill Street to the City Center from 3pm-6pm to allow for safety of the Trick-or-Treaters.

Activities in Curtis Reed Square include: free photos taken at AwwSnap photo booth, free hot apple cider from Doty Island Development Council, live music by Kurt Stein School of Music, carnival games from Fun Pros. Also, the senior center will have a fun haunted hallway!

Truck or Treating

Lake Edge Learning Center, located at 1511 Nicolet Boulevard in Neenah, will have a Truck-or-Treating event for kids on Friday, October 27th from 6:30-7:30pm.
