The Future of the Banta Building

You are invited to share your vision for the future of the Banta building with a developer. Earlier this year the City of Menasha acquired the former Banta Publishing facility from RR Donnelley who closed the plant in 2011. The City is currently working with a developer who is proposing a walkable riverfront neighborhood reusing portions of the building for housing.

The developer will be hosting a community forum with a conceptual plan display on July 25th from 5:30pm to 7:00pm at the Banta Bulding. Please use the BACK ENTRANCE (pointed out in the picture). This development offers an exciting opportunity for new residents to experience the island and at the same time preserve waterfront access at the dam and Banta point for future generations.

Please note: Only the first floor of the building will be open. There will be no building tours.
