SATURDAY'S FUN ACTIVITIES

The weather has been beautiful! Here are a few family-friendly events happening on Saturday that will encourage you to get out of the house! Kick off your morning with cleaning Doty Island, visit the grand re-opening of the Menasha Historical Society at lunchtime, and spend the afternoon shopping in downtown Menasha.

Grand Re-Opening of Menasha Historical Society, 1pm - 4pm

640 Keyes Street, Menasha (across from Smith Park, Doty Island)

The Menasha Historical Society received a new floor and have changed their displays. Support the local volunteers and visit them at the Memorial Building across from Smith Park. Bring your friends and neighbors for this family-friendly event. On a side note, current and new (paid) members will receive a Thank You gift!

Girls Get-a-Way Day, 10am-6pm

Downtown Menasha Businesses

Spend the day in Downtown Menasha visiting the stores. The businesses are offering discounts, projects, workshops, refreshments, demonstrations, and so much more.

Doty Island Cleanup Day, 8am-Noon

Meet at Youth Go, Nicolet Boulevard - Doty Island

Join us at 8am to help clean Doty Island. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes. The Doty Island Development Council will provide the garbage bags and drinks/food for volunteers. The volunteers will be put into groups and assigned an area to clean/pickup trash. If you can volunteer an hour or two to help beautify our island, we'd appreciate it!
