Planters are now BLUE!

Commercial Street Planters are now BLUE! For the last week, Shellatte's customers have been asked to choose between blue and cream. The blue color won 87 to 17. The planters were prepped for painting last night. This morning, eleven Doty Island volunteers met at Shellattes for a hot breakfast before they set out painting the planters. Passing cars often gave the volunteers a "thumbs up" or yelled encouraging words out the windows of their vehicles when they passed.
